John Paul Karnes thought his middle name was Waldo, but that does not match the headstone.

Joe worked for Farmers Union Gin in Senath for many years. He worked in the office, perhaps as the manager. After Joe retired from the Gin, he and Digger had a storefront in Senath that they used as an office for various work.

Osee Shelby Karnes

Joe, his wife Osee, and his son John, are all buried together in the Senath Cemetery. His other son Joe Wayne and Joe Wayne's second wife are also buried in the Senath Cemetery, but in a different location.
