In April of 2016, I recived email from Peggy Ward, a descendant of Abraham and Moses Thos Karnes. Her history is as follows:

My mother:                 Peggy Burgess  married my father Orville G. Sessums
My grandparents:       Chalmer Burgess  married to Berniece M. McDonald
My gr-grandparents:    Jennie V.  Karnes  married to  Henry (Doc) L. Burgess
My gr-gr-grandparents (Karnes line):    Moses T. Karnes   married to Lottie L.  ?  (maiden name maybe Kennedy or Canady)
My gr-gr-gr Grandparents (Karnes line):  Abraham Karnes married to Martha McKelvy

In June of 2006 I traveled to Senath, Misouri with my father and took pictures and any "Karnes" headstoned I could find in hopes that later on I would be able to piece together the relationships and figure out how everything fit together. Based on the information pprovided by Peggy Ward, I was able to connect the dots with this picture I had taken at the Lulu Cemetery:

There is also a nearby headstone that is a son of Jennie V. Karnes. John Moses Burgess was killed in a car wreck. He was known as "Uncle Mose"
